Theo & Elisavet's Greek Wedding

Elisavet's mom contacted me more than a year before the big day. I had photographed her good friend's wedding and she wanted to talk to me about doing Elisavet and Theo's. "It's going to be a Big, Fat Greek Wedding," she told me. I didn't know everything that entailed, but I was excited anyway. I wasn't disappointed. I had seen the movie and was almost expecting a crazy uncle to bring out a Windex bottle, but that didn't happen. What did happen was that a lot of wonderful traditions were observed, a lot of Greek music was played, a lot of Greek dancing was done, and there was plenty of love and joy to go around.

Thanks, Francie, George, Elisavet and Theo, for choosing me to participate in this most special of occasions. It was a day I won't soon forget.
